We were bringing our girls (12, 10, 4) to NYC for a summer ballet performance at Lincoln Center. Whym was a great pre-show dinner for all of us.
We were seated at a booth with floor to ceiling brown leather and modern lighting-- my girls loved this. There are floor to ceiling windows facing the street which let our kids watch the city roll by--again, very enjoyable.
I appreciated the kids menu, my youngest two had mac and cheese and plain pasta--they both loved it. My oldest branched out and had the grilled salmon w/mashed potatoes and asparagus. She loved it and shared with all of us. I had the roasted chicken with kale, escarole and freekeh--and felt very healthy and satisfied afterwards. The chicken had great flavor. My husband had the steak/meat special--- yummy but he conceded that my dish was tasty, too.
Good drinks (wine, scotch), accommodates families without being kitschy or condescending, great locale for walking to Lincoln Center, food portions were right on-and the price point was where it should be.
