“Between the deli and the restaurant/bar a couple doors down, great atmosphere and selection”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2013 via mobile

I particularly appreciated the great and carefully selected cheeses to eat with baguette or in a fondue.

I'd recommend going to the deli first then the restaurant/bar later so you can try out the cheeses, etc that you like.

The bar is gorgeous at night. An intimate, and surprisingly non-crowded spot.

“WE WERE EXPECTING MORE”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2013

From Trip Advisor description we were surprised to find less deli and more pub-style that we'd anticipated. Don't really want to put the place down but our dinner was pretty average. I'd describe this as more of a Manhattan neighborhood pub than a real deli.
Also a bit hard to classify as # 82 of 8,972 NYC restaurants. Really ? - In the top 1% ? Not from our experience anyway.

“New York at its best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2013

My second visit to this bar/deli/restaurant in Hell's Kitchen. Very relaxed atmosphere with attentive service, delicious tapas, varied wine list and good music. Food is fresh, fresh, fresh and varied. Excellent selection of cheeses. Lots of atmosphere with locals aplenty wining and dining. Highly recommend if you casual dining is your thing.

“Superb Mediterranean restaurant in midtown”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2013

This was a fabulous experience. Four of us went there at 10 pm on a Friday night during a rainstorm, and the restaurant was jammed. They offer a variety of Mediterranean tapas, fabulous salads, sandwiches, and a variety of specials. We had the turkey meatball plate (one of their specialties) and the grilled chicken kebab platter. I also ordered the mustard chicken and gruyere sandwich (although I could not taste the mustard). There was plenty of great food, the service was excellent, and the experience was wonderful. I want to return to this restaurant.
