“Great Customer Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2013

The staff at this hotel is very friendly and always willing to help. This location feels more like a boutique hotel instead of a Best Western. If you stay, I would recommend eating a AQUA which is an amazing Italian restaurant just down the street. I will be back to this hotel again.

We stayed in June at the Best Western Sea Port in New York as it was close to our son's apartment. What a great find! Robert is the manager and he and his staff were so helpful and accommodating. The rooms were good sized and beds very comfortable. It was quiet and location close to subways. I went back over Labor Day and stayed there again and Robert remembered me from the previous stay! They have done it right there at that hotel. Incredible spot in such a large, busy and noisy city. It was an oasis!

Room Tip: Any room would be good!

Arrived here late on Friday night for a boys weekend with my brother. Douglas the receptionist was extremely helpful and knowledgable. He was full of information on where to get a bite to eat locally and helped us with our travel plans over the three day break. The location is not ideal as it's a bit of a walk to the main tourist spots but the nearest metro station is not too far away. For the price it fullfilled our needs. The room was clean and had all the usual amenities. We didn't eat breakfast although it was included as being Brits in the USA we felt the need to frequent the many diners for traditional US breakfast fair of pancakes, bacon and maple syrup. Katz Diner on East Houston street is an eye opener if a little bizarre but the sandwiches are out of this world. Check out the Meares bar across the square from the hotel. The beer is top notch and the food is simple bar food but quality and the staff are superb.

Very good value and location for the 5 Boro Bike Tour in May 2013. Staff was pleasant and the room was clean. The area around the hotel is still rebuilding from Sandy but it didn't stop us from exploring and seeing the sites of NYC. We would stay here again.

After changing my room a few times, I had a very good experience. The main strength of this hotel is their well trained staff. They were awesome from the moment we walked in till we checked out. The negative is the location. A long walk from the nearest subway station.

Fantastic hotel - Best Western Seaport Inn. So handy to everything and staff couldn't do enough to help us. Internet was great too - fast and we were happy to be able to stay in contact with friends and family Well situated, walking distance to Chinatown and Little Italy. Transport easy to get to and lots to do in this city. The staff helped guide us to the various options for bus travel. Lots of local restaurants to eat at and all well priced. The one next door to the hotel served wonderful Italian food and had a reasonable wine selection.

Great NYC value and location. Room needed updating, and the AC was too loud to leave on. Good breakfast, but snippy attendant-kind of funny though! Neighborhood still rebuilding from Sandy, and many businesses still closed. Had a good stay!
