This is my second time staying at the Empire Hotel. I stayed the weekend of June 21 for my daughters birthday. The hotel is a great hotel, with clean and comfortable rooms. The rooms are small, but sufficient considering you are out all day walking the streets of New York. The added benefit is a lap pool on the roof. If you book through the summer, this is definitely and nice addition to your holiday. Now they offer breakfast on the rooftop which is an added plus. The breakfast is continental, so coffee and croissants, muffins or bagels. The beds are very comfortable. The bathrooms are small, so not too much space to put your toiletries. They have a small shelf above the toilet. But overall the hotel is clean and comfortable. It is a little pricey so you need to check for deals. It is about 20 minute walk to Times Square, but across the street from Central Park. Overall a great hotel in a great city.
