This hotel tries to compete with its central park neighbors. From the 'fee attached' inroom coffee to the malfunctioning a/c and low class 'I don't care attitude' the Empire Hotel was a horrid disappointment! I would not recommend this hotel. Either spend more and stay at neighboring 4/5 star hotels or spend less and stay at a cleaner/friendlier and cheaper Hilton or Hampton Inn.
