Start with the mango mojito (they make the best mojitos in Manhattan), sit back, enjoy the food and the fun. Food is Cuban, right down to the bowl of black beans they bring to the table. I spoon them onto the rice that comes with the chicken al jibe, a flattened breast of chicken with some salad featuring avocado sharing the plate. The soups are great. My wife almost always gets the shrimp and yellow rice in the banana leaf basket and finishes every morsel. Service is attentive. What makes this place so special is the live music. Diners get up and dance in the aisles to authentic Cuban music. On our last visit a drummer got up from the audience and was outstanding, sitting in with the lively band. You don't have to be Cuban to love this place. And, yes, try the Infamous Goose sauvignon blanc from New Zealand. Don't let the name nor the price fool you. This is a good glass of wine.
