“Sex & in the City”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2012

I only stay there one night but, the experience was truly awesome. I had a breathtaking view of the city. The room was excellent, I felt like I in the Sex & in the Movie. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend as well as stay at a London Hotel again.

During our recent stay we were very pleased with the service and quality of your hotel and staff. We were treated exceptionally well and our meals was served with total professionalism and care. I must say that my meal was one of the best meal we have ever had. Our meals were served without delay and the timing of the food being brought to our table was spot on. very comfy and spacious room with two flat screen tvs. Large bathroom with no tub but double shower. Separate sitting room next to bedroom. Everything very clean, housekeeping very good. Free wi-fi in the room. Great gym on the 4th floor. Great location .

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our 1 night stay on 2/18/12 to celebrate a romantic evening together. I was given a few suggestions by friends and relatives where to stay for our special evening and there was only 1 Hotel that truely caught my eye (The London). Not only does this hotel live up to it's fantastic reviews, service and it's overall reputation but it is close to EVERYTHING!! You literally step outside and have all of Manhattens splendors at your feet. I could go on and on about how truely wonderful my stay was but i think ill leave it up to future guests to see for themselves =) However i would like to thank the hard working staff members of The London NYC for making our stay/evening truely amazing and magical!!! Looking forward to seeing you again on our next stay in the city that never sleeps...

Feb. 17 - 21 marked our first trip ever to New York City. We stayed at the London and found the service, the room, and all staff first rate!! They are one of the few hotels in NYC that still have some smoking rooms, and I appreciated that. We requested a refrigerator in our room, and it was there upon our arrival. The bed is the most comfortable we've ever had in a hotel as well! After touring the city all day, we truly appreciated going back to our room for a good night's sleep! The staff was most friendly and extremely helpful in giving directions, getting cabs for us, etc. It was obvious to us that all personnel at the London NYC were proud to work there!! We will most definitely stay there again!

Room Tip: GREAT PLACE TO STAY. We were on the 18th floor, and it was quiet.

Stayed here for business Feb 2012 - excellent hotel and services (particularly the fitness centre) (although room service is a bit pricey). Rooms are nicer and much better value than the nearby Hilton or the Marriot Grand where I have previously recently stayed in NYC. I also booked through WhatAHotel website which worked very well and included breakfast, room upgrade and internet for the same price as a booking without those perks on the hotels own website. Recommend both the hotel and the WhatAHotel website to book it.

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor room as there is a little bit of street noise (not a huge issue but if you'...

We had stayed here right after this hotel opened as the Righa Royale years ago
and had been back a couple of times since then. Now, as the London NYC, the
hotel is even better!

Upon check in, we were offered a slightly upgraded suite with French doors
between the rooms (some have this, others do not) Check in was friendly and the
young woman seemed to really care that we were there. Our room, like most all at
this hotel, was full of several WOW factors. First, the size of the rooms--at
least 500 sq. ft. Our room had a large bay window overlooking the city from the
27th floor. We had requested a quiet room away from the elevator and were given
exactly what we asked for.

Our king bed had luxurious bedding, comfortable choices of pillows, just the
right firmness in the mattress. Another WOW factor--the draperies at the large
bay windows were opened and closed electronically by a wall switch. No more
fighting with drawstrings or pulleys to operate the draperies. The sitting room
had a very contemporary feel to it with a curvy pale blue three piece sofa, a
great leather embossed desk and ergonomic chair, a white leather rocker, and
ample lighting. 2 flat screen LCD TVs and an IPod docking station were also in
the room.

The mini bar was well stocked (and electronic). The bathroom was luxurious as
well with a huge, double shower, Waterworks toiletries, bath robes and thick,
thirsty towels.

Although it was winter, we wanted the air conditioning on at night. When we
couldn't get it to cool, one call to the front desk produced maintenance within
5 minutes and a fix to the problem within 15 minutes. WOW!

Wi-fi is included in the rooms. WOW! The hotel is dog friendly for pets under 20
pounds ($125 fee). There is also 24 access to the London NYC Club fitness
center, 24 hour room service, 24 hour cancellation policy.

Downstairs, dining venues include Gordon Ramsey at The London, The Maze, the
London Bar, and The Chef's Table.

We would definitely stay again!!!!! WOW!

Room Tip: Away from the elevator, Mid-level rooms (27th to 35th), end rooms are quieter on the 'back side...

It now makes perfect sense to me why Gordon Ramsey choose this hotel to be the home of his New York restaurant. London NYC brings the cheeky London way into a modern Manhattan 4.5 stars hotel. Every room in this hotel is a suite, so you are getting a much more spacious room at a standard deluxe room price in the same star category.

Unlike other major hotel brands, this hotel gives a very classic yet swanky feel - the room decoration is very chic and modern, but also comfy and cozy. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful, but also capable of making one feel like you are indeed staying at a trendy hotel. Therefore I found our stay to be very satisfactory. Being a former New Yorker, the location is impeccable - you are within 5 - 10 blocks radius of many Michelin star and top rated restaurants, fantastic bars and lounges, Time Warner center, Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall.
