“Intimate and friendly”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2014

We stayed a full week a familly of four in a two queen bed superior room.
Fantastic beds and good sound isolation. Heater could not keep up when
the outside temp sunk under 30F. The room was a little to small for four people,
but apparently this was still one of the bigger ones we could find when searching
the web before picking this one. Staff was friendly and helpful, an all in all we were
very happy with our stay. Recommended.

My partner and I recently returned from a romantic NYC getaway. The hotel was perfect. Fantastic location and hip vibe. The room was sexy and fun. The staff was beyond wonderful and accommodating. Will definitely stay there again. Have already told several friends about it ! A true Tribeca gem.

Room Tip: We stayed in 605. Great city view with awesome weekend rate !

i return to this beautiful boutique hotel five times a year for extended stays. i keep returning for their outstanding service, hospitality, and lovely amenities. the thoughtful and welcoming staff remembers me each visit. its desirable location provides access to amazing restaurants as well as an equinox that the hotel provides free passes to.

Room Tip: corner suites on the 6th floor are amazing.

My fiancé and I had dinner plans in the area and decided to spend the night. The hotel was very convenient and in walking distance to many great restaurants and bars. The room was small, but the bathroom was quite large and we had a king sized bed, which was insanely comfortable. I thought there would be more noise from street traffic, but we heard nothing and slept through the night. The staff was very friendly and we had no issues. An overall great value.

I stayed for two nights in February. Before arriving, I read that this boutique hotel had an extremely friendly staff, decently sized rooms, and nice amenities. All true. The guy at the desk that met me was ridiculously nice. Going outside in 20 degree weather not wearing a jacket to guide me to a pharmacy and an open-late pizza joint. Nicely appointed breakfast in the morning in a nice cafe-like restaurant downstairs. Fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies laid out in the morning. Lemon infused water in the lobby at all times (free).

The room was what you would expect in a boutique hotel. Fairly minimalist design and furniture (desk and chair looked like it came from Ikea). Comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Nice selection of shampoos and lotions.

The only downside was that my toilet made noise all night (trickling water). But since I didn't call down to the desk to ask for help I guess I can't complain. In any event, closing the door shut out most of the noise.

I would definitely return.

Green Features: Like most boutiques, seemed to have a lot of green practices in place. For example, my room was freezing when I walked in because the air wasn't just running non-stop. But the thermostat and central air kicked in quickly and the room warmed up in 10 minutes.

Enjoyed my one night stay in late January. Check in was quick and all the staff were very friendly. Room was a bit small but comfortable and attractive. Bed was excellent. It was cold and the heat was a bit noisy, but kept us warm. I would recommend this hotel and visit again next time I need to be in Tribeca.

Had the pleasure of staying at the Duane Street Hotel for 2 weeks while in town for business. The location was great for both work purposes as well as getting out to venture around town.

The rooms were small and there was not much "extra" space, but overall, the rooms are very nice and the beds are extremely comfortable.

The staff is very friendly and laid back, making it a very warm and inviting atmosphere.

Overall, I would recommend the hotel if you are looking for a quiet place to stay away from all the craziness of New York, but want to be in a location that allows you to get to all of the hustle quickly. I look forward to staying there again next time I'm in the city.
