What an excellent choice of hotel. I was staying 3 nights in NYC with my Mum (a very young 61) and my brother (16), we booked into a standard room which had two huge queen sized beds. I echo of the recent comments, the rooms are equipped to a high standard, the microwave proved very handy!! The breakfast really sets you up for the day . . . you can eat as much or as little as you like. Unfortunately for me I couldn't keep away from the pancake machine! The staff are friendly and always happy to help.
In terms of location, you are a stones throw away from Macy's which can be dangerous on the wallet! I've stayed at the Waldorf Astoria before and think this is better located. Okay the street is not as pretty as Park Avenue but you are right in the heart of NYC here. The walk from Soho is pleasant enough but with the underground at the end of the road, you can get to where you need to be within minutes. Everything is easily accessible.
