When I was reading reviews I was especially concerned with the size of the room, but for a New York hotel it was not bad. We had 3 adults in the room. While I would not say it was spacious, it worked. Rough measurements would put our room at about 400 Sq feet. This was a corner room with 2 double beds, so I am not sure the size of the other rooms. BTW don't forget you have to put your key in a slot inside the room for AC/heating and lights to work. Desk area and chair at the other end of the room. This area was nice for sitting or working. There is a large TV in the room, but we did not use it. The kitchen area is adequate with dishes, cups, forks, knives, and glasses.. Counter high Fridge and freezer, was large enough for our needs. Has a dishwasher, and microwave. Does have pots and pans but as other have stated not sure what to do with them. If you can get a hot plate there was no information about that. In fact, I could find no written info about the room or hotel (except for a small card telling us about breakfast on 3rd floor). Gristedes on corner of 8th and 54th ( a block away) has groceries. Bathroom is small but works. Had plenty of hot water, and while the water pressure is adequate it is not the strongest. We were on the 42nd floor and had a great view of Central Park. The breakfast selection was very good. Scrambled eggs, each day some sort of potatoes and sausage. There was pancakes one morning, and sausage and biscuits another for variety. Lots of fresh fruit, yogurt, waffles, bagels and bread for toasting. Some pastries, oatmeal, and cereals are also available. Of course juice, milk and coffee. The room on the 3rd floor where breakfast is served is quite large. Lots of TVs and several booths for private TV watching while you eat. Several outlets for charging up your devices and saw monitors for surfing the internet but I never used. Plenty of table seating around the edge of the room so you can look out to the city. Several couches for sitting and having coffee or breakfast. I really enjoyed this room. Up on the 4th floor is a Bistro that sells sandwiches, drinks, and Starbucks. We did not purchase anything so I can not comment on the food or drink. This room is a large room for sitting and lounging. There is a computer with printer to print out boarding passes. This room was nice for us as we able to sit there until we headed to the airport after check out time. Don't miss the Sky Terrace on the 35th floor. Great views of the city from there. I would have liked some seating on the Terrace but still nice area to get outside and see a view of the city. Great location would stay again.
