“Overpriced fun.. But worth it!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2014 via mobile

Took my daughter and friends for her birthday. Ambiance was cool...food was ok. Most of the other reviews are spot on... In that it is a fun place and a cute concept.. Good for kids and teens. Our waitress was a female and not over the top entertaining.. I think it will depend who your server is. I heard other groups sounding like they were having heaps of fun. To sum it up.. Definitely worth a visit .. Once

“Best restaurant for fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2014

We had a lot of fun at this restaurant. The ninjas are good at keeping you entertained and sneaking about and making you jump! Also you get a magician come to your table which is a nice touch, we weren't expecting that, and he was actually very good. I still can't explain the tricks he did! The food was delicious and looked incredible too, we chose to get 'art dishes' the best one was The Rose dessert. It was sickly but looked wonderful! We both had a three course meal, so the bill was far from cheap, however, we felt it was a fair price and since we had such a good time, we didn't feel ripped off at all.
Wish there.was one in the UK!

“Great Entertainment!!!! and OK food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2014

Remember people you are not coming here for the food you come for the entertainment. I treated my 16 year daughter for her birthday and her two friends. They had the time of their lives, they giggled and laughed through the entire meal and are still talking about it today. Exciting things were happening from the second we entered the elevator to go down into the restaurant up until the very last second we left the place. Waiter was great, did so many tricks and scares. The food was presented in a very Ninja like style, smoke coming out of drinks, black boxes to open, toy spiders, etc. etc. etc. Pricey but well worth the smiles.

“Once is enough !”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2014

This is an highly priced theme restaurant with nice decor and layout. Tables are arranged in each indivicual little enclave so you never see other people directly. prices are $$$ with $32 for a dragon roll. The staff was awesome and they really try to do their "job". However, two managers are constantly patrol around the tables - staff are under heavily mico-managment and make sure we pay our share of tips when we left. Quality of food is average and cool but with the addon presentation to make it up. Avoid the miso soup if possible - salty. Location is out of the commerical area but near the Chamber street subway station so it is easily to find. Magic show is neat but expect you to pay at the end. 4 people with only 1 beer we end up with $250 for the bill. Nice to try it out once if you are new in town.

“AMAZING EXPERIENCE!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2014

My husband and I were going to a concert on New Years Eve and decided to just walk around and find a spot. The place looked like just a door but when we saw people inside we took a look at the menu and took a chance. Just to get into the restaurant was a hoot. Through a winding maze with ninjas around every corner. Our server, Angel, was an absolute riot. He explained everything VERY clearly to us and made excellent suggestions about what to eat. My husband got the lamb chops and I got the chicken teriyaki. Everything was cooked to perfection. All of the appetizers were themed and VERY good. I would recommend Ninja New York to anyone and everyone!
