“A very cool place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

When I go to NYC I usually go to GPH as it is a block away from my daughter's college residence. This last time I was there it was a beatiful spring day and I could visit Gramercy Park, a beatiful private park next to the hotel. I had a room overlooking Lexington Av. and as usual the service, the concierge and the atmosphere were all very good. Also, they usually help me with late check out!

Room Tip: Choose a room overlooking Gramercy Park

Great hotel! We love GPH and try to stay there whenever my husband's business takes him to NYC. The atmosphere, terrific service and awesome beds are just three reasons we enjoy staying there. The location is also key with easy access toidtown or downtown. Love the neighborhood feel around the hotel.

Location - Cool - Concierge.
So close to the best parts of New York but felt like a quiet village green
A very Cool historic hotel that made you feel like you are living in apartment not staying at a busy hotel. Staff are very attentive. Bar & restaurant are a must and not too touristy.
Concierge (Aisha) is fantastic and so willing to help. We took her advice and discovered parts of the city that a local would visit. Great access to West & East villages plus subway.
The king loft room has extra room with a lounge to chill out and to enjoy the awesome room service. Spend a few extra dollars staying here to feel the real New York!

Room Tip: King loft room on 16th floor

The hotel is gorgeous with a fabulous location and excellent service. The concierge was extremely helpful making sure that we had reservations for dinner and brunch if we wanted. We loved the restaurant; the tasting menu was phenomenal. It was such a nice surprise when the hotel sent up a "Happy Anniversary cake" for us. 5 star service! We will be back!

We stayed at the Gramercy Park hotel for just a couple nights on our way back home from a trip to Paris for our 10 yr anniversary and what a treat! This hotel has a fabulous vibe from the minute you walk in the door - and given that it was December they also had a beautiful Christmas tree in the lobby to bring out your Christmas cheer! As soon as you walk in you notice an amazing scent that permeates through the entire hotel - it is their very own patented scent in candle form - and yes you can buy them to take home! We had the luxury of staying in one of the top floor corner suites and it truly was a home away from home for those few days. It had a separate living/dining room, beautiful (and enormous!) bedroom and 1 and 1/2 baths as well as all the closet space you could need! The views were amazing and while the Gramercy was not central to much in NYC we thought it was a plus to be able to get away from the chaos to experience peace and quiet at the end of the day. The Gramercy also has it's own private park - we didn't get a chance to enjoy it but if you're there in nice weather I would definitely take advantage of it!

Holidays are such a special time in the city and I am truly fortunate that you were able to experience it here at Gramercy.....Of course our 20ft tree in our 2 story lobby is rather dramatic, so p[leased that you enjoyed the look and feeling....add in the crackling fireplace, warm rich colors....certainly sensory overload!! Thank you for your positive feedback and Happy Anniversary once again! Looking forward to welcome you back for another great experience here at Gramercy.

My wife and I stayed here for a weekend getaway. The hotel is beautiful, from the moment you walk in the door, the attention to detail is impeccable. I loved the real wood burning fireplace in the foyer. The Rose Bar is one of the coolest bars in New York with amazing art and ambience. The front desk was kind enough to upgrade us to larger room and everything from the bed to the shower with the best water pressure ever was perfect! The mini-bar was pretty sweet too.

Location is in a quieter area of the city, away from the touristy hot spots, next to the beautiful Gramercy Park. We enjoyed just walking Village with it's fresh markets, cool stores and restaurants. Like everywhere in NYC, a quick cab ride or subway can get you anywhere you need to go in minutes.

Overall, I loved the hotel and location.

Room Tip: We were on the 7th floor and it was perfect!

Thank you so much for the wonderful review, it truly means a lot to us! Of course the beauty is amazing...although the team makes it magical! So pleased to hear how you enjoyed your self. Walks from the hotel are limitless....you are steps from everywhere, not to mention a stroll inside the ONLY private park in New York City....Glad to hear you have found your NYC home here at the Gramercy and we look forward to welcoming you back for another memorable weekend.
