“Small theatre but great seating!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2012

The theatre has great views of the stage since, it's a smaller theatre. You feel very close to the stage and can actually see the actors faces.

“Great things come in small packages.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2012 via mobile

Theater was much smaller than anticipated but loved the intimacy. Not a bad seat in the house. Even the last row felt inches from the stage. Seats were very comfortable and did not feel too crowded.

“Helen Hayes theatre Rock of ages”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2012

Loved the show. Great intimate atmosphere with audience cheering, waving, singing. Good value by buying ticket on the day at the cheap ticket booth for the Saturday evening show for $88. Sat in row P orchestra beside the aisle and more than happy. Still close enough to the action on stage. Fantastic lead guitar playing in the show. You cannot take drinks in - even water - they check your bag at the door and will hold them for you to collect on the way out. No photography allowed either.

“Rock of Ages”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2012 via mobile

Small and intimate theater, but, absolutely terrific! The show was fantastic and I'd strongly recommend it to all "students" of the 80's! (and beyond!)

“OK. Depends on your expectations.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2012

This is an ok place for a small theater experience with good views of the show regardless of seats. The positives are you get a more intimate experience of shows and the theater itself is pretty cool. I saw Rock of Ages there and I enjoyed it alot. The downsides to this place are the drinks are expensive, the bathrooms are few and tiny, and the exits are few. But you are in New York so alot of people is the norm. If you are expecting things you would get at a bigger theater then you will be disappointed. The price here is kind of high for the place also. Definitely buy tickets at the theater to avoid fees if you can.
