“Superb!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2014

My daughter and I stayed at the Archer last week for 3 nights/4 days. This was a trip we planned on short notice and so the only thing we had definitively planned in advance was one Broadway show. The hotel staff at the Archer deserves high honors for making this an amazing mother-daughter trip before she soon leaves for college for the first time. From Anthony, the fabulous concierge who helped book our dinner reservations and gave us tips on tours and directions, to Eric who waited on us at the amazing Fabrick restaurant in the hotel and gave us some shopping advice, to Executive Chef Aiden who introduced himself and brought us a small plate, to the front desk staff who checked us in early and gave us a fabulous room on the 17th floor with a perfect view of the Empire State building, to the front desk attendant who assisted me in needing to print something on short notice, to the bell man who literally ran down the street to grab us a taxi....everyone at the Archer demonstrates first class service. Though small, we didn't mind at all as the space in the rooms and all areas of the hotel is designed wisely and everything is impeccable. We loved the location of the hotel, away from but still very close to Times Square (without the noise and bright lights), and a quick walk to Bryant Park where we ate breakfast to start our days. We loved the Archer! We did have difficulty with the WiFi in our room, but that was a minor inconvenience that I'm certain the hotel (which was only open for 5 weeks when we were there) will work out.

I would rate this hotel as good. Very good location, room are nicely done but very small. Internet connection was unstable. We were disappointed by our dining experience. The food was good but nothing to remember, we had to wait for 40 minutes for our table which costed us in expensive drinks. We were told they would do something special for us, which meant they brought as small piece of sashimi to try out.

The hotel was in an excellent location .Trendy yet classic. Staff was very knowledgable and helpful. My room was small but everything in it from the linens to the mattress to the towels and the toiletries were top of the line. Had a small electricle issue ,it was fixed in about 10 minutes. The restaurant was amazing. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfectly lovely boutique in mid-town. Close to MSG & Times Square but on a fairly quiet section of W38th. Room was super comfortable, immaculately clean and they have turn down service with sweet treats each night. Nice touch. Didn't try the David Burke restaurant but the rooftop bar was a great way to end the day. Highly recommend.

Great hotel. From the moment we arrived, the valet staff was prompt to greet us. The check-in process was expedient and the front desk staff was very friendly. The rooms were very clean. Nice feel. Friendly staff. Great rooftop bar with great views of the Empire State Building. h

Spent our first wedding anniversary at Archer hotel, the staff were brilliant and very helpful. The roof top bar is great but very busy. I would totally recommend this hotel to anyone. A great location very close to all the must see sights in New York. A fantastic view of The Empire State Building from the roof top bar but do get there early.

Stayed here for 3 nights with my boyfriend and we loved it!! The hotel is conveniently located close to everything but it's not in the middle of the craziness/crowds. The room was small but that is commom with NYC hotels. The room was very clean and the decor was classy and chic. The beds and pillows were really comfortable. Make sure to monitor the AC because it gets really cold.

I loved that room service left little notes and sweets when theyd clean. We got caramel one day, chocolate covered pretzels the next day and chocolates the last day. The Nespresso coffee maker was a big bonus as well. The toiletries provided were great too and smelled awesome.

The rooftop bar is awesome because of the view but it was empty on the night we went (Thursday). The drinks were expensive and weren't great either. Didn't try the food at the restaurant.

Overall we had a great experience and would return again.
