“May be to Modern”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

My wife and I enjoy a great meal and after eating at the Modern Bar room for lunch last summer we knew we had to come back and hit the dining room. I don't know if it was the test tube of soup, the unique uses of flavors, or the overly emotionless servers, but we left with doubt if we will return. Don't get me wrong, the food is exceptional, but it just seems they are trying a bit too hard to be cool. We sat next to windows over looking scupltures which was really great and as I said the food is really good. Just be ready to spend a LOT, and leave hungry?

Food for lunch was great. Also good with with the special, a filet mignon salad. My mother took me there as a cild, so I revisted the Picassos and new art work. Fun experience.

“Innovative cuisine”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

A fantastic restaurant, innovative and creative chef, perfect service and incredibly good food at the MoMa museum. In addition, culture as you look on the sculpture garden. If you do not want to eat or pay as much, go to the other side, the cafe or the bar. Food also great and small portions tapas style will enable you to taste varied dishes. Everything delicious!

Stopped by with friends and had a great time. Great vibe, high energy- interesting menu. Very fun for locals and visitors. Expensive, but worth it.

“A Great Dinner Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2013

We (myself and my partner) celebrated his birthday at The Modern in February.

We were eating in the dining room and had the 4-course menu. The atmosphere was really good and the place seemed buzzing.

The service was fantastic. Very attentitive and made you feel welcome.

The food was exceptional. The plates might seem small but with all the little add ons and surprises you get with your meal you'll be surprised how full you are by the time you leave! The lobster main course is a must!

It is expensive but worth it!
