“A favorite venue”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2013

We love going to Joe's Pub and it's one of our favorite places to listen to music in NYC. You can order tickets online & pick seats in advance (ticket prices are reasonable). Good acoustics. Not a fan of the new menu (no healthy choices since the renovation), but it's adequate. Highly recommend this intimate venue for concerts while enjoying a bite to eat & drink (they do require a $12.00 minimum). Servers are pleasant & professional, but with two or three shows a night, the kitchen has no time for special requests.

“Classy, comfortable spot for live entertainment”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2013

This is one of my favorite spots to see a show in Manhattan. This isn't the kind of place you'll find a mosh pit or dance floor, but in terms of comfortable seating with great lines of sight, terrific sound and good service, this can't be beat. There are edgier venues for music, but this is one of the nicest, most comfortable and most reliable spots for live entertainment. Food isn't bad, either. Service has been uniformly good, which is tough to find in a music venue!

“Special Orders Upset Us”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2013 via mobile

Great music, but have dinner before you arrive. The menu is limited and the chef will not accommodate dietary needs under any circumstances! Seating is tight and chairs better suited to an ice cream shop.

“Excellent spot for nice gigs”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 6, 2013

I've been to Joe's Pub for a concert. Tickets can be booked online and you can choose the seat you prefer (tables are shared). The venue is small and cozy. You get seated around 30 min before the show starts. Seats are comfortable enough - I was seated just in front of the stage: it was just great. Food is good quality. There a few beers and wines. There are also cocktails. The atmosphere is the best part of the experience: you are in a small cozy place, eating and drinking while listening to some very good music. What else do you want?

“Lovely Small Venue with Great Acoustics & Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2013 via mobile

It's a lovely space with fantastic light fixtures, very comfortable table seating, a truly professional wait staff who knows how to serve without intruding on the performance, and some reasonably priced (for NYC) delicious food. The acoustics are superb -- among the best in the city. The recent renovation was clearly a success! Highly recommended!
