“great Italian dinner”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2013

Had dinner at Tony's before a show. Excellent Italian food, deliscious Pasta and fun ambiance. The Service was outstanding. My server went above and beyond and had a fun and professional manner. will keep going back to Tony's every time i am in the city!

“Nice to eat with a group.. ”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2013 via mobile

Visited yesterday with a party of nine.. Nice friendly service..

Nice cold antipasti but a little bit flat in trays.. Tomatoes could be better, great small buffalo mozzarella with basil...
Entrees again not outspoken in taste... Sea food linguini had overcooked linguini in it which in Italy is a deadly sin... Lobster also a little bit overcooked so unfortunately to dry.. Great baked sirloin with nice oven roasted half potatoes.. Nice shrimps which were cooked good..
Huge desserts.. The Tiramisu was lots of mascarpone with cake that again can be more outspoken in taste.. The quality of their Espresso was their second deadly sin.. Virtually No crema and extraction way to long... Unworthy of an Italian restaurant..
Overall we had a nice evening but the kitchen in my opinion should work a bit on taste/seasoning of some of their dishes..

“Never disappoints”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2013

I have been coming to Tony's since 1994 for the great food, and nothing has changed other than the location. Always humming, but never rushed. Lots of families, friends and couples getting together here for the warm vibe and yummy traditional Italian cooking. Mwah! Love it!

“Authentic, Family Style Italian”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2013

Do not miss an opportunity to eat here! The family style portions are generous, and for the price, you are not going to get better food in mid-town! We had some appetizer specials that were fantastic including shrimp and baked clams. The caesar salad was fantastic, and one salad was definitely enough for four people, even though the menu states it feeds two. Dinner entrees were delicious. They had a nice wine list. Service was outstanding. It is definitely not a place to go for a quiet dinner, but if you don't mind the chatter and bustle you will find that you are in for a real treat. I highly recommend this restaurant, and will definitely be back!

Great place for grops of 4 or more...the food is fantastic, and plentiful.
Not fancy...a casual night out. I love this place!
