The contact we had prior to our arrival was excellent and as I told Hercules when we arrived, the apartment we had (the Monet) looked exactly like the www pictures.
It was spotlessly clean, serviced every day and wonderfully quiet.
The location of West 11th is ideal for closeness to all the Village has to offer and only a 5 minute walk to the nearest subway.
I would have no hesitation in staying there again.

I am delighted with my stay at West Eleventh- Carravaggio Apt. This was a sight unseen booking for me. The building and the apartment are exceptionally well designed and kept. I am delighted at th care and content of this holiday residence.
My introduction, by Eva, was thorough and complete. When I had a need (on Thanksgiving day) Mr. Kontos made the trip to my apartment to accomodate me.
I will definately reserve this location for future visits to NYC...especially since my daughter lives across the street.

This was my second stay at West Eleventh Historic Townhouse and it was even more enjoyable "the second time around" if that's possible!
My daughter and I stayed in the Caravaggio 2 years ago for 2 weeks and my husband and I stayed in the beautiful Monet a week this time--it wasn't long enough! Both apartments were wonderful
What made our stay even more pleasurable was the gracious, always helpful hosts,Hercules and Therese Kontos.
Of course the neighborhood is The Best--wonderful restaurants on every corner and everything within walking distance.
We enjoyed every minute of our New York vacation because of our stay at West Eleventh Townhouse and I can honestly say I wish I could live there!
We are looking forward to a return visit with them again--we wouldn't think of staying anywhere else!
