All the comforts of home and none of the anxiety of imposing on a relative.
Hercules and Therese couldn't be more friendly and accomodating. The Monet apartment, perfect for two, was clean and light and comfortable.
The bed was the best I've slept in away from home.

The neighborhood is my favorite and to have anything you need within a few blocks is perfect. We spent little time in the cozy apartment as there was so much outside to see and enjoy.

There is no elevator - so be prepared to carry up and down whatever luggage you bring, but it was a small price to pay for the wonderful place.

We recently stayed at West Eleventh for 4 nights and wonderful doesn't even begin to describe it. A very peaceful place, great location and the best hosts in the city! The charming rooms and wonderful hospitality made our trip one we will always remember and look forward to staying there again!

We have just returned from a long weekend in Greenwich Village, NY. We normally stay in hotels when on city breaks, but this time we tried a townhouse in a quiet area for a romantic weekend instead. Well, we weren't disappointed! West Eleventh is in a perfect setting, just around the corner from Bleeker Street and well placed for all Greenwich Village historic sites, shops and restaurants (all within walking distance). We spent time in SOHO too - a 15 min stroll from here.

We stayed in the Leonardo Suite which was spacious, very comfortable and ideal for 2. The owners, Therese and Hercules, made us very welcome and were extremely knowledgeable and helpful about Greenwich Village and NY generally. They recommended several restaurants, bars and walks in the vicinity.

We will definitely book townhouses/B&Bs again, rather than hotels when we visit major cities. We felt we were actually living in Greenwich Village for a weekend, rather than just tourists in the area. Will come back again to stay at West Eleventh if we come to NY for another break in future.
