This guesthouse has everything one could want except for the big amenities of a big hotel, i.e. no concierge, no gym-- one nearby-- no pool. (It also costs a third as much for the size room I had.) That said, ithe guesthouse is near more excellent coffee shops and bakeries than one can sample even in a long visit; the West Village and convenient subway stops are at one's feet; the room I had, overlooking a garden, was large, well appointed, scrupulously clean and very quiet. Internet access was fast and reliable. The kitchen was well appointed for short term needs. (I would not try to cook a major meal in it.) Bath and towel service as well as cleaning were at the highest standards. And it felt like fun. I will stay there again.

Really liked staying here. It's nice and clean and the location is superb. We stayed in Leonardo suite which was spacious and comfortable, if a little dark.

If you are fed up with anodyne hotels and hotel rooms and want to try something different then this townhouse is the place for you. The rooms are quiet, private, full of character and well appointed. And - you are in the heart of Greenwich Village with shops, restaurants and brilliant bookshops nearby. Difficult to find a more restful or convenient place to stay in the heart of the Big Apple.
