My mum and I stayed here for 5 nights in June (I'm 27 and mum mum's in her 50s) and it was exactly what we were after. What a wonderful New-York style living space.

And it was so close to fancy shops, and fabulous cafes and restaurants. And on the corner is the famous Magnolia bakery - open until late (11pm!).

It was such a cozy district. I recommend Cafe Angelique on the corner of Bedford and Bleeker for Breakfast. We ended up there every morning - great selection of food. Yum! The cafe was also great place to see the locals each morning. It reminded me a lot of FRIENDS. The 'apartment' is just down from this cafe!

It's also a great place to get to the nearby subway stations. Just 10 minutes down Bleeker towards St Christophers, or to 14th St/8th Ave.
We stayed in the Junior Leonardo Suite, which was just off the host's living space, ground floor. The room was great, plenty of space to unwind in after our busy 14hr days! We had room service everyday, which was a bonus as we weren't expecting that! And the A/C was much needed after the days out in 36 degree heat! What a week - we had a heat-wave!

And I musn't forget Silvia, who checked us in and out. Lovely and very helpful! We would recommend to ask her to book a private cab for your ride back to the airport. We rode in an A/C cadilac! Very nice!

I have just returned from my third stay at West 11th Townhouse in the West Village of Manhattan. Once again it was a terrific experience. The location cannot be beat. The check-in process is catered to your needs and arrival time; you are met by Silvia, a most professional and friendly roving concierge, who answers any questions about the neighborhood and offers suggestions on "secret" places that only locals will be aware.

I will definitely return to this lovely spot in the Big Apple!

If you want to feel that you are actually living in New York, only 15 to 20 minutes from mid town, in cool Greenwich Village, tree lined streets and in a characterful townhouse...stay here.

It's an individual home..not a chain hotel...so you get those quirks which make your stay that much more interesting.

We can only speak as we find, but some of the slightly moany comments didn't reflect our stay, even when we did manage to break a glass one day, and then a cup the next.

My daughter and I spent our first trip to NYC at West Eleventh. The location is excellent, the room (Leonardo Suite) felt like home and it was very clean. It was so nice to come back to at the end of a busy day. We would stay there in a" New York Minute" if we come back again!

The three of us, me, my husband and my mother, stayed here for 10 nights in the Marcucci Apartment.

The position of this Townhouse is fantastic. Silvia was charming and her advice helpful. I understand that some people are concerned about the rules and regulations- but they actually served to make us feel able to leave my Mum in the apartment in the evening when we went out. If having a secure place to stay is not a priority and if you want to invite friends over - stay elsewhere.

The stairs are daunting but expected. The apartment was very clean and well maintained during our stay by friendly cleaners.

The main room was large and comfortable, the kitchen and bathroom both very small, but sufficient.

We assumed that the apartment would have a door on the second bedroom, but it did not. That it does not should be included in the description of the layout.

Overall a wonderful stay, thanks very much!
