My daughter and I spent our first trip to NYC at West Eleventh. The location is excellent, the room (Leonardo Suite) felt like home and it was very clean. It was so nice to come back to at the end of a busy day. We would stay there in a" New York Minute" if we come back again!

The three of us, me, my husband and my mother, stayed here for 10 nights in the Marcucci Apartment.

The position of this Townhouse is fantastic. Silvia was charming and her advice helpful. I understand that some people are concerned about the rules and regulations- but they actually served to make us feel able to leave my Mum in the apartment in the evening when we went out. If having a secure place to stay is not a priority and if you want to invite friends over - stay elsewhere.

The stairs are daunting but expected. The apartment was very clean and well maintained during our stay by friendly cleaners.

The main room was large and comfortable, the kitchen and bathroom both very small, but sufficient.

We assumed that the apartment would have a door on the second bedroom, but it did not. That it does not should be included in the description of the layout.

Overall a wonderful stay, thanks very much!

My husband and I spent a week in the city and wanted to get the real feeling of living in New York. West Eleventh (Monet Apartment) was the place to be! The woman who welcomed us was very helpful and lovely. We had housekeeping service each day and a place to cook if we wanted. When I say 'cozy' I mean the decor and 'feel' of the apartment. It reminded us of Europe. It was certainly larger than a standard hotel room and the high ceilings made it feel even bigger. The location was perfect and there were many bakeries, restaurants, and markets within walking distance. The neighborhood was quiet and so was the building. West Eleventh is able to keep it's charm by not turning into a college party hotspot, so if that's your thing, you may want to find another place. We felt completely safe in both the building and the neighborhood. The only thing that made us nervous were the steps going up to our apartment. If they did not feel like they were going to come off the wall, it would have made us feel better! But it's all part of the experience!

Our family of three stayed here celebrating our life in that neighborhood some 55 years ago. The accomodation was lovely. Our suite, the El Greco, was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated with original paintings. The bath room was new and elegant with great linens. Service was impeccable. West 11th Street in Greenwich Village is quiet, tree and flower lined. If you are staying in the city, it is a an oasis from the noise and traffic of the rest of Manhattan. I am looking forward to going back.

Highly recommend Eleventh Street Townhouses, West Village, New York City. Extremely private and extremely quiet. Book well ahead but worth the planning.
