Wanted to stay centrally in new York without the stress of congested traffic, noise and the usual sterile hotel environments. Found West Eleventh Townhouse through the web. It is located on walking distance from all those spectacular and typical New York events you don't want to miss during a short visit.
Tube around the corner.
As a frequent traveler I am used to the fact that you will always feel a bit compromised for finding a central place. Not here though. This excellent place to stay is located between 7th Avenue and Bleecker Street in the "Village", one of the most attractive neighborhoods to walk and shop.
After a long intensive day in the city we experienced West eleventh townhouse as not only a comfortable place to be, it felt like coming home every time again, as if we lived there.

My work took me to NY for a month in '06 and my employers found this accomodation for me.
It was quiet, comfortable, very clean and the owners of the townhouse were very welcoming and gracious. Even inviting me to attend their intimate July 4th barbeque and to have a private chat in the sitting room one afternoon.
Everything I needed during the month was available within steps of the front door.
I plan to see the play Equus in Oct. and won't hesitate to book a room at West 11th once again!

This was my fourth stay at this charming boutique hotel. The West Village location is perfect, close to my work, tons of wonderful places to eat, quiet and very secure. I'm able to relax and feel at home when I return to my comfortable and spacious suite. The staff is friendly, helpful, always trying to meet your needs, and available by phone at any time. If you're looking for something different, not the usual boxy, sterile NYC hotel room-- this is a great choice. I know I will be back!

It took us about half an hour to unpack and feel completely relaxed and at home!
Great neighbourhood, friendly reception and a smashing appartment combined to offer a superb base for enjoying everything Manhatten has to offer.
The "village" atmosphere provides a refreshing break from the hustle of Broadway and mid-town which is only 20 minutes away via the subway. There are dozens of great (and varied) eateries within a 5-10 minute walk.
The appartment is quaintly bohemian in style with all "mod-cons" and offers an insight to New York living that is not available from staying in hotels. Very quiet and private, help is on-hand when a little local knowledge is needed.
We will be disappointed if we can't get booked in again!

Thorougly enjoyed the Marcucci apartment at West Eleventh ... the townhouse is in the heart of the Village and is a charming place to wind down at the end of the day. Kitchen and bathroom small, but adequate.

The service was lovely and not intrusive, and the matress on the King Bed in the large bedroom was super comfortable. Great little bookstore on the corner, and restaurants nearby are wonderful.

Much prefer apartment living to staying in a hotel in New York ... accommodations are more personal, comfortable and authentic than in a hotel.

I'll be a regular at West Eleventh from now on.
