This was my fourth stay at this charming boutique hotel. The West Village location is perfect, close to my work, tons of wonderful places to eat, quiet and very secure. I'm able to relax and feel at home when I return to my comfortable and spacious suite. The staff is friendly, helpful, always trying to meet your needs, and available by phone at any time. If you're looking for something different, not the usual boxy, sterile NYC hotel room-- this is a great choice. I know I will be back!

It took us about half an hour to unpack and feel completely relaxed and at home!
Great neighbourhood, friendly reception and a smashing appartment combined to offer a superb base for enjoying everything Manhatten has to offer.
The "village" atmosphere provides a refreshing break from the hustle of Broadway and mid-town which is only 20 minutes away via the subway. There are dozens of great (and varied) eateries within a 5-10 minute walk.
The appartment is quaintly bohemian in style with all "mod-cons" and offers an insight to New York living that is not available from staying in hotels. Very quiet and private, help is on-hand when a little local knowledge is needed.
We will be disappointed if we can't get booked in again!

Thorougly enjoyed the Marcucci apartment at West Eleventh ... the townhouse is in the heart of the Village and is a charming place to wind down at the end of the day. Kitchen and bathroom small, but adequate.

The service was lovely and not intrusive, and the matress on the King Bed in the large bedroom was super comfortable. Great little bookstore on the corner, and restaurants nearby are wonderful.

Much prefer apartment living to staying in a hotel in New York ... accommodations are more personal, comfortable and authentic than in a hotel.

I'll be a regular at West Eleventh from now on.

My daughter and I stayed here over Christmas 2007 and were delighted with West Eleventh. It is located in a wonderful old house right in the heart of the west village but so quiet and peaceful once inside that it is hard to believe you are in NYC. Although we knew the house was full on booking, it felt like we were the only guests. Right from the start, our hosts Therese and Hercules could not have been more welcoming and helpful. we stayed in the spotless, airy and well equipped Caravaggio Apartment which overlooked the garden and was well stocked with guide books and list of recommended places to eat nearby. We were presented with a gift bottle of champagne on Christmas eve and invited to share brunch with our hosts on Christmas morning. The walls of the house are lined with original art works collected by Therese and Hercules on their travels. These really interesting people who so generously treated us to their hospitality helped to make this visit to New York a happy and memorable one. I would highly recommend a stay at West Eleventh.

What can I say....the location is perfect. Steps away from the Maganolia Bakery and other fantastic shopping and dinner spots in the village. The townhouse is not only charming but clean and cozy! I stayed in the Monet Room and it overlooks the most lovely courtyard. Don't forget to have a croissant at Tartine just down the street.
