We stopped there for the restaurant week ( part of 3). It was Saturday but they told us they would offer the $19.95 3-course meal.
First of all they had so many menus it was overwhelming. To make things easier we decided to go with the restaurant week option the 3-course meal ( big mistake ).
In terms of food quality there is not much to say. The pasta was cooked alright with sauce out of a can. I was not expecting house made pasta at this price anyway so not much to complain about it. It was basically diner food with a diner price.
Regarding the service it cannot get worst:
The hostess that took the order was friendly. But the busboy that served the bread just passed next to the table and dumped the bread basket on the table with no eye contact and no words.
The waiter then arrived with the first course in 3 plates. I noticed one plate was sitting on the food of the second plate- yuck! Then he looked at us and asked " the Caesar?" then he just dropped the plates I would even say threw the plates on the table.
The wait staff never said a word to us they were so rude.
When we got the pasta I guess it was because we had the $20 combo meal we were never offered the Parmesan cheese that all other tables around us got.
I could go on and on about the poor service but you get the picture.
To put a cherry on top of the cake they brought us a check adding 18% tips to the final bill.
I usually tip 20% but I was so ready to tip 10 to 12 % this time to show my disappointment but we were expected to tip18%?!! A mandatory of 18% tips was not even mentioned anywhere i am not sure it's even legal. But what I am sure is that I will never ever go back.
