“Good diner”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 29, 2013 via mobile

This was next to our hotel and we had breakfast/supper here several times. The service is sometimes good, sometimes with a little attitude, but usually efficient. The food and prices are both good. The place gets packed around 9 am, so be there early to avoid the queue.

“Fast and friendly”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 28, 2013

In a word, the food came out fast. And it was delicious. Had a great pancake breakfast on a Sunday morning and was able to get in and out in a very reasonable amount of time. The food quality did not suffer though. It's easy to see why the place was packed.

“Great place for decent food and super fast service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2013

The restaurant is located just steps away from the Sofitel Hotel at the corner of 6th and 44th. We actually ate there twice...once for b-fast and once for lunch. Albeit the prices are a bit higher than what we'd typically see here in the Midwest, they overall were not too bad.

Our b-fast (omelette, eggs, waffle, etc) was ordered and return steaming hot in a matter of 3-4 minutes....McD's could take lessons from these guys!

There were several other comments about service not being friendly...it's a classic based diner (and I later found out somewhat famous)...and most of the staff seems to have English as a second language. Every person working there busts their [--]...I'd go back there for lunch today (if it wasn't +500 miles away :) )

“Decent food, service with an attitude”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2013 via mobile

We ate here twice, both times because we didn't want to do a lot of walking, and it was right next to our hotel. The first meal was dinner. Very good matzoh ball soup, average salad and wrap. The second time was breakfast. Food was very good, especially their waffle. Both times, the service was not friendly. It does have a very hip decor for a diner.
