“Nice choice of Tapas”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2013 via mobile

A good choice of Tapas in a relaxed, not very comfortable environment. Very authentic Spanish like assortment, well prepared. Wine selection from Spain is OK.

“Hard to find - worth the effort Tapas in Chelsea”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 21, 2013 via mobile

Book ahead and leave yourself some time to spot this little gem in Chelsea. Great selection of tapas, Spanish wines, cocktails and other specialties. Always busy and bustling, the place consists of a bar and some very cosy tables in what looks like a narrow alley between 2 brick buildings. Service is friendly and helpful. We try to go whenever we are in NYC - it's a great way to pass a evening with friends. Don't look for a sign out front - consult your GPS and follow your nose.

“Fabulous”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2013 via mobile

Wonderful, from the octopus salad to the seared scallops and lamb skewers...every bite was perfectly prepared and seasoned, just delicious. Adorable, friendly solicitous waiter who was knowledgeable about both the food and the wine, he made us feel welcome and was spot on with his recommendations; warm cosy atmosphere, just perfect perfect perfect. Love.

“Oh my, the anchovies”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2013

We had lunch tapas at Tia Pol. It was delicious and their Red Sangria was thirst quenching on a hot October(!) day.

“Excellent Tapas”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2013

We searched out this restaurant, based on TripAdvisor reviews, for an early dinner after a walk on the High Line. It doesn't look like much from the outside but we had the room at the back to ourselves, friendly and knowledgeable service, and terrific tapas with reasonably priced wine by the glass that went very well with the food. We had the scallop special, potatoes, fried fish and spicy shrimp. All were delivered piping hot. We would absolutely return on another visit to New York.
