when all the others diners are speaking french, you know you're in a real french restaurant. for the price of what many other restaurants charge for one drink, you can get a multi-course meal served over a leisurely period of two hours or so. from the escargot to the creme brulee, everything is authentic and full of great garlic and butter. (no, the creme brulee does not have garlic.) and, beautiful co-owner delphine makes everyone feel as though they are v.i.p.s. we can afford the exhorbinant prices of the high profile new york restaurants. however, we choose instead the genuine ambiance and delicious dishes of les sans culottes.
