I booked a room for a Sat night function in Soho where we would be visiting 2 different locations...we were within walking distance of both. We found the staff to be extremely helpful, cheerful and polite. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Great food within short walking distance...I will definitely book there again when I am in the area.

Booked a last-minute work trip at the Solita and was highly impressed by the rooms (small, but v comfy bed and fab shower with double shower head) and particularly the welcome and service from the hotel staff...couldn't do enough for you. And got me and my colleague into our rooms before we were meant to check in. Great location too...will be back!

I booked a room on Hotel Tonight app last Saturday and the picture showed two beds. When i got there, the front desk supervisor told me that my room was only booked for only one bed. I was with some friends....and would def need two beds. She was very polite, listened well and even looked at the picture of two beds on the Hotel Tonight app. She was able to help me out and find a room with two beds - waiving the charge for the switch. Great service, seamless, extremely polite and good for a laugh or two. I think her name was Ana Dekker.

This was well located accommodation in New York with Little Italy and China Town with in walking distance for nice restaurants etc. The room was clean with a very comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom. We had a corner room and it had sufficient space to move around. The staff were very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Check in and out was quick. The only slight negative was the street noise. Even though the window was double glazed it was not very effective. The air con was noisy so we did not use it at night. This was not an issue as our visit was early in the year. The metro is close by and was very quick for travel uptown to do all the touristy things!. Even though there were a couple of slight negatives it was a pleasant stay and good as a base for visiting New York.

This is a charming small hotel in Soho just a block from Little Italy and Chinatown with great rates. Small room, but very clean and quiet with super-friendly staff eager to help, answer questions, etc. There's a charming, very good French restaurant next door which also offers room service. If I were to stay in lower Manhattan again, would certainly consider staying here.

Room Tip: Stayed in an upper room (10th floor) with a view and very quiet.

We liked this hotel very much. Very reasonably priced for Manhattan. Not fancy, but all the details it does provide are really nice. The beds are super comfy. The room with two double beds felt roomy enough. The bathroom had modern fixtures and a double shower head, which was awesome. Very clean room. Friendly, helpful staff. A great location. If you turn right out of the hotel, you can wander around Little Italy and Chinatown. If you turn left, SOHO is a couple of blocks away. The Canal St subway is just around the corner. Only weaknesses were the windows didn't seem insulated, so a bit drafty, and street noise filtered in even on the seventh floor.

I went up to Chinatown NYC last week to try to catch some of the Chinese New Year spirit. With the cold spells, hotel rates were low. With good value being important to me, I did considerable research and settled on the Solita Soho Hotel, located on the northern edge of Chinatown. It was a great location being in the quieter half (a few blocks north of Canal Street) and yet relatively quiet. Yet it is only a few blocks from heart of Chinatown and the countless Chinese restaurants.

The hotel itself was well kept, with tasteful and simple decor. My 2nd floor room was small and with a view of the exhaust ducts. Nevertheless, it was a comfortable room. I was able to get a good night's sleep on a comfortable bed. The bathroom was decently well lit and fixtures modern without looking cheap. My favorite feature was the shower. The water pressure was great and together with a sunflower sized shower head provided a satisfying shower. The towels were thick and good as any you would find in a four star hotel.

The wifi was reasonably fast and the chair comfortable.

For what I paid, I thought I received good value.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that face Grand Street if you don't want to look into an air well. Dining: If...
