“Fantastic world class dining experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2013

The dining experience at EMP for our group of 10 was faultless, we called to make reservations over the phone but since we had a big group I contacted the restaurant via email and Kristen ensured the whole booking process ran smoothly.

We went with the 9 course degustation menu with the additional entree option, I had the wine pairing option and it was some of the best I've had, this may not be the case for more experience wine connoisseurs but I'm still young and learning.

The only dish that we found that did not meet our expectation was the Lobster, we found that it was slightly overcooked, everything else was delicious.

The Lettuce and Spring Onion dish was a stand out for myself personally where as my mates all quite enjoyed the Halibut.

The bread served here wasn't your normal Sour Dough it was more like a Croissant, it just crumbles and flakes as you bite into it.

EMP was a fantastic experience that comes with a price tag, it isn't for everyone and it's understandable...but for any foodie I would highly recommend it.

Anyways, don't take my word for it go experience it yourself!

“Imaginative and creative menu created by a chef who is a master of his game”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2013

What can I say about this place? Perfection would be a good start, followed up by a good amount of friendly staff and a fantastic vibe with the focus completely on the food, which starts off as amazing and gets better as the courses go on.

This is an imaginative and creative menu created by a chef who is a master of his game. This place is ranked number 5 in the world for a clear reason. I have been to other restaurants in the worlds top 50 list and this stands head and shoulder above those other experiences.

It's one captivating journey that begun with a black and white cookie, but substituted with cheese and finished up with the real deal. Eleven Madison Park is a culinary journey that I won't forget.

“Deserving of its reputation - Anazing experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2013 via mobile

Every step of my experience at EMP was world class - they anticipated everything and did it gracefully and without coming across as being stuffy. The kitchen is one of the best in the world - so inventive, fresh and delicious. the service is superb - flawless but humna. I enjoyed it as much as I did Noma or mugaritz - best fine dining restaurant on New York hands down. Would love to return as soon as possible.

“Eleven Madison Park's New York”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2013 via mobile

Had lunch at Eleven Madison Park & it offered a fantastic take on New York food, in a beautiful Art Deco setting opposite the park. Service was very polished & professional, if lacking a little warmth compared to Per Se. There was a fun element to the menu, creatively mixing flavours & re-interpreting some New York standards, Egg Creme, NY Cheesecake. The cheese course came as a picnic, which was a lot of fun. Very helpful in matching wines to the courses, all of which were extremely good. Definitely worth a visit.

“An Experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2013 via mobile

Look, it is a place you should visit as it is about the experience rather than the food itself, although the food is well thought of, creative and well executed. The experience in itself was fun, and keeps you guessing what quirky thing might come out next. The service like the food is hit and miss for me personally. The sommelier was not showing
much interest in us and not friendly but more
so to the russians next door. our waiter however (Colby Toby?? sorry I forgot) was excellent and explained every dish and did the tricks with such finese. We also managed to take a behind the scenes tour where the chef made the most amazing and redreshing drink cocktail, very impressed and highlight of the night. It was a beautiful setting where attention to
details is apparent to the direction of traffic in which the floor team follows with a purpose, I like that.
