“Overpriced”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2013

I could have gotten the same, or better in Westchester and cheaper.
Totally ridiculous wine by the glass prices and the glasses are tiny, if you like to eat n drink be prepared to shell out mucho $$$$$

“perfect atmosphere! Delicious food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2013

Sat outside & it really was the perfect Saturday evening meal on the Upper West Side. It is quite picturesque/pleasant. The wait staff were all very helpful! Due to how many people were coming into the restaurant, there was a tad bit of delay with placing our order. But, we were enjoying the bread and butter so much that it really did not matter & just made for a more relaxed experience. I had the halibut and it was delicious! My friend ordered a dish made with shrimp and they automatically let him substitute shrimp for scallops, for a minor price adjustment. Wine was great! Truffle fries were perfect! And our server was just as precious as they come.Do not remember his name, but he was so nice. Wish I could've tried more, but was pleasantly full!

“Great lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2013

It was a hot day and we needed a chilled lunch experience and that's just what we got with great food.
The dinning rooms are traditional but relaxed and the staff very helpful and friendly. We had the seafood shellfish tower was great, nice lobster, large prawns, fresh ceviche , oysters, clams etc and the High Rise with Parmesan fries was a great meal for 3. Dessert was a great crime brûlée and rose wine by the glass at 10$ was very good value (and quality). We will go back.

“fresh fish and cherry stone clams too”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013

Walked into Ocean Grill reservationless on Memorial Day Weekend and got a table within 5 minutes. The cherrystones were perfect, reminded me of the fresh clams we used to dig out of the Great South Bay off Fire Island when i was a kid, and first rate red sauce to eat them with. I had a John Dory, the Beloved ate Salmon and you would be hard put to find two happier people. This place has been around for a while, and it just keeps getting better. Oh, yes, nice sized drinks, too.

“a bit crowded”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2013

I hadn't been here in years, but we decided to try it for brunch. The food was wonderful, but overall we felt rushed. We were asked how long it would take us to eat when we sat down (which was strange). We had a reservation. We did feel rushed. The waiter kept asking us if we were ready to order and once we did the food came to us in just a few minutes. We had hoped for a leisurely brunch, but it wasn't to be. Also the room is very crowded and loud. There's not much room between tables or to pass through the dining room. Overall, it was good food, rushed service and not relaxing at all. I won't go again for brunch.
