Description: Spring Street Natural Restaurant was founded in 1973 in the heart of SoHo. The Restaurant quickly became a neighborhood fixture, serving up fresh, healthy cuisine at affordable prices to local denizens. In 1985 Spring Street Natural moved east to the corner of Spring and Lafayette. Tripling our space and adding abundant sunlight and windows, Spring Street Natural blossomed at this new corner location along with the surrounding area in what has become a vibrant neighborhood on the convergent edge of SoHo and NoLIta. Our philosophy from the beginning has been to serve whole natural foods that are minimally processed. Where ever possible we produce our items in house from fresh natural ingredients-- from organic whole wheat flour pie crusts to house made breads, fresh pasta, organic seitan and free range chicken sausages. We make the effort to ensure our produce and grains are certified organic wherever possible. All poultry is free range and naturally farmed without hormones. We are now in our fourth decade of serving healthy natural cuisine and still going strong. We offer a wide range of choices from completely vegan macrobiotic plates to sandwiches, salads, and innovative entrees with vegetarian, seafood and poultry choices. Be sure to check out our daily specials and join us for weekend Brunch, enjoy.

“Overpriced Over rated”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2013

A coworker and I had dinner here yesterday. The food came out cold and we had to send it back to be warmed up. The baked chicken was bland, the arugula was soggy and disgusting (and I normally love arugula), and our drinks were tiny and not worth the $15. We found this spot just by walking by. We thought it looked nice even though it was empty. Once we started ended we found out exactly WHY it was empty. I didn't even know this was a "natural" spot until I read my receipt. Maybe that's why the food is horrible? I'm not sure. Either way, my coworker and I left extremely disappointed and wishing we would have saved $40 and just gone to a nearby hole-in-the-wall spot. We will NEVER eat here again!

“Delicious food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2013 via mobile

Me and a friend tried the catfish, and it was absolutely delicious. Another friend tried the taco salad, and was also impressed by the taste and size of it.

“Can't get enough!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2013

Our office orders lunch from Spring Street Natural on a weekly basis. This is the kind of place where everyone will find something they love. Whenever we have out-of-town coworkers, we order because it's fresh, versatile, and delicious!

I always order the Vegetarian Gyro with no onions. They're normally pretty good about excluding the onions, but sometimes they're in there. The office favorite item is the quinoa salad. We normally order about five of those.

Overall: Grab this for lunch and bring your friends, too!

“Natural options with flavor”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2013 via mobile

Stopped by just to get a drink after a long day Of walking through SOHO. Was not really looking for anything to eat but the menu presented to us looked interesting. We had a beet salad with goat cheese and also some spring rolls that were very tasty. We did not have a full meal so I cannot comment on what their dinners are like. Our latte and fresh squeezed juice were excellent. The service was very good and I thought the atmosphere of this corner restaurant was comfortable and allowed for people watching in NYC. We liked it.

“Always good, Always delicious”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2013

I have been eating here for a few years. The location is ideal and the setting is really nice too. I actually had my Birthday dinner there last year and the food catered to everyone and the service was great too. This place is good for a quick Soho lunch or a nice dinner out. The food changes according to the time of year. Highly recommended!
