Arrived in NYC tired but hungry and read to explore. I had read good reviews about this restaurant and were able to get reservations that very night. We were warmly greeted and promptly seated. Although the room was alive with activity, we could still carry on a conversation. Our water glasses were filled immediately and a basket of bread placed on our table (the best we had during our whole stay). Next came our waiter who introduced himself and asked if we liked olives - "yes" was our reply and soon he returned with a bowl full of various types. All the pasta dishes are around $15-18 and are large and full of flavor. It is a large menu filled with lots to offer but leave room for dessert as the tiramisu was delicious and so was the chocolate mousse cake ($7 each). As others have said "seek this restaurant out" - you will not be disappointed.
