“New York Palace Towers”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2013

Excellent service - especially by Jimm. A huge thank you to him. Clearly one of the best - if not best- hotels in New York City. The renovations are lovely, the service is impeccable and friendly.
Restaurants are superb as is everything else about this hotel. Looking forward to many more stays here when I visit New York City.

The towers are beautiful. I had seen the hotel under renovations last year and thought this would be a great weekend with my husband son and his friend, both 14. We were all so impressed and happy with everything. Can not wait to go back in the warmer weather. Will definitely stay in the towers again!

Room Tip: All floors above 40th floor. A great view of city

The renovations are beautiful, and the service is as perfect as ever. We brought our neice and her daughter to NYC for a birthday trip. We wanted everything to be special and it was, with many thanks to Beatriz McGroarty of the Guest Experience Department. Our rooms were gorgeous, with gorgeous views. Our neice and her daughter were met with very special treats and a birthday balloon. We had breakfast in their room every morning, from where we could watch the skaters are Rockefeller Center. It was another perfect stay at the Towers. We will be back.

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of spending a weekend in NYC. We stayed in The Towers and our entire experience - from check-in to check-out - was simply FANTASTIC. Special kudo's to Mr. Ruggero Massetti, Director of the Towers, for his professionalism and attention to our needs. He was extraordinarily accommodating and genuinely caring. The hotel was gorgeous, our suite was breathtaking and our overall experience was simply spectacular. We will definitely be back.

I have been a fan of the NY Palace for years, especially for its great midtown location for business and its proximity to 5th Avenue, Central Park, Rockefeller Center and the subway. This was my first visit since the renovations of The Towers and the hotel did not dissappoint. The service was gracious, personal and warm at the front desk and in the lobby, but also on the guest floors - The Housekeepers greeted me every morning, asking if they could assist and wishing me a successful day. The renovations of the guest rooms have really modernized the accommodations and the new bathrooms are excelllent, especially the overhead rain shower. The new restaurant, Villard Michel Richard is breathtaking inside in multiple rooms and the tasting menu can rival any in New York City. I also ducked into Trouble's Trust on the first floor for a martini one eve - it also looks like they have a great handcrafted cocktail menu.

We are accustomed to staying in fine hotels like the Ritz or Four Seasons. As far as service it's almost everything you'd expect. I will note that the check in could have been more welcoming. The parking was confusing and the doorman is not overly welcoming. I'd expect more for 750 a night. Still once we arrived at the check in desk at the Towers the service was right where it should be. The towers are essentially upgraded rooms occupying the top floors of the hotel. We requested an early check we arrived at noon and there was no room available. No big deal as they made it clear they were full and could not guarantee an early check in. Anyway they said they would upgrade me and a toon was available 5 minutes after we left the hotel to have lunch. I'm not sure how much of an upgrade we got but the room was gorgeous and huge for NYC. Foyer living room bedroom huge bathroom all automated with electric shades and lighting controlled at the bedside on a touchscreen. I know people that live in apartments smaller than out room... That was the standout of out stay and very friendly bartender named Greg at the hotel's bar.
