“Great pre-theater place to eat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 24, 2013

We have eaten here several times and have been pleased with the service and quality of food every time as have the friends we have taken. If you tell them you are going to a broadway show they are very helpful in getting you out in time to make your show. If you are wanting a leisurely dinner they can accommodate that as well. Not touristy at all, lots of locals eat here.

“Nothing bonne about this place”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2013

Was severely disappointed with this place.
The restaurant was cold.
The tables are on top of each other.
The food was the worst I have ever had the dissatisfaction of paying for-gruyere cheese was burnt, there was a puddle of water in my "salad" that consisted of lettuce (including the heart and many brown leaves!), one slice of tomato, half a boiled egg and a fork full of tuna-some salad!
Food in France is not like this!
Also, the waitress was the rudest person I have ever had the misfortune of meeting.

“French bistro”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2013

We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of our friends. We were not disappointed. This appears to be one of the restaurants where locals go. It was a busy place for a Sunday night. Even as we left, groups of people were coming in. Prices were very reasonable and food was tasty.

“Very nice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2013

We bumped into the restaurant after having spend a few hours by bike in Central Park. (bike rental facility is next door). Food quality is very acceptable, service is ok, but not extremely joyful, house wine very good. Not many tourists to be noticed, so always a good sign. Would definitely go back.
