“A Little Taste Of Cuba!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2014

This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend as the place to go to when celebrating a special occasion, birthday, anniversary etc. so we confirmed to celebrate my birthday -great atmosphere, with a live band playing Cuban music and some guests even decided to get up and dance some salsa!:) the food was good but nothing fancy or
original. The service was very good.

“Delicious food, good portions”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2014

My girlfriend and I went here for dinner before attending a play at the Gershow Theater which is walking distance away (even in her heels). Neither of us had been here but we wanted to eat somewhere nice that was nearby and I found it online. We made reservations and arrived a little early, grabbed a drink at the bar and were seated promptly. The place is typical of NYC, lots of tables in close proximity to each other but the atmosphere was very pleasant. The decor of the restaurant was very nice as well. We had appetizers, drinks, entrees and split a dessert. The food was outstanding with generous portions and the guava dessert we had was fantastic. Despite being extremely busy the food came out quickly. Our reservations were for 6pm and we had enough time to relax and finish our drinks even after the dessert with time to spare before we walked over to the show at 8pm.

“Great Cuban Food in NYC”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2014

We went to Victor's during restaurant week to enjoy the excellent Cuban cuisine. Food and service was very good. The waitress recommendations were good and the selection of choices during restaurant week was adequate.

There was more than enough food and drinks were reasonably priced for NYC. This is quite an expensive restaurant so we tend to go during restaurant week. One downside and unpleasant surprise was that when you ask for and get a refill of coffee, they charge for another cup. At $4.00 for a cup of coffee this seems unreasonable to me so I downgraded the rating on that basis. Otherwise they would earn 4 stars.

Based on our experience you cannot go wrong with whatever you order here.

“Great ambiance and food! Loved it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2014

Had one of the best dinners in NYC. Had croquetas for appetizers, yummy. Delicious churrasco and sirloin steak. Mojitos are to die for. Tropical music and excellent service. Recommended 100%. Would definitely go back.

“Great Cuban Bar/Restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2014

My wife and I went here after seeing the Jersey Boys (theatre directly opposite). A live Cuban band had just finished but we took a table in the bar and had a couple of glasses of red wine (good selection by the glass) and some Cuban-style tapas which was perfect for our requirements.

Be good to come back for a proper meal and to hear the band. I hear that salsa dancing at the end of the night isn't uncommon!
