The boat holds an intimate-sized group - approximately 40 last week on our tour. The seasoned architect's 3 hours of information felt like I was taking an exhilarating college class. I found myself in rapt attention. We learned SO much about architecture, history, engineering, geography and more. Plan to eat lunch at 'Wichcraft prior to boarding (it's just across the sidewalk from the boat), then you're on the beautiful yacht-like vessel for 2 hours 45 minutes. You are offered wine/cola/water and a mid-tour treat of gourmet cheeses, crackers, fruits, and cakes. You'll see views of Manhattan that you cannot see otherwise, and the abundant knowledge that is imparted to you by a genuine expert that makes this one of the most thrilling travel experiences you can imagine. We were on the Manhattan, which does have air conditioning. Their other boat, the Kingston, apparently does not, but I cannot speak to the comforts of the Kingston. I can only say that I would take this tour all over again this week if I were still in New York -- there is simply so much to absorb! I should add that the seating on the Manhattan is very comfortable and the staff members that assist in food and beverage service and other tasks were lovely.
