We came here on a Monday night for 8 o'clock reservation. Even though there were no reservations available on open table we called and we're given our first choice time.
The restaurant was full of locals ( which we are) men in business suits with ties loosened and jackets off. It seems like everyone in the restaurant was there to enjoy a good meal and relax a little bit.
We enjoyed the grilled leek appetizer and that miso glazed eggplant. We love these dishes. We always do. We also ordered a foie gras and caviar torchon which was Amuse size. And a sea urchin tempura. The foie gras was not very good, though that's Seargent tempura was good as always.
We ordered six sushi rolls and miso soup. The shrimp tempura roll with the crispy a shrimp tempura roll I have ever had, the spicy tuna roll was very interesting in that it didn't seem they use spicy mayonnaise as most places do, they used what appeared to be mayonnaise and then some spicy peppers as a different component. Both were exceptional. The miso soup was the best miso soup I have ever had. Even better than Nobu Next Door!
We very much enjoyed our meal and will absolutely go back. This was not our first time.
The menu is available online and is quite accurate in terms of offerings and price.
