We went for a beer and dinner. We walked into the bar, a great, historical, Irish-bar type bar.....there was a smiling, friendly bartender, a small crowd yet it wasn't empty, and a single guy with a guitar singing, and I loved it. The beer flight (had the bartender choose) was great. We had ressies at the restaurant (a couples night on a Saturday) and liked the feel of it. The problem was the food was good, not great. My NY strip was a great cut, but not cooked perfectly. The onion soup was super flavorful, but a bit salty. (My husbands salad and burger were better) I did like the meal, but I liked the atmosphere better. The waitress was good enough.
Back at the bar? Loved it. Next time I would skip the restaurant, gran a table at the bar for food, and enjoy the atmosphere and music.
