“Another great meal!~”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2013

We went back for the all you can eat mussels and was not disappointed. Fabulous split pea soup started off the meal. We ordered the creamy white wine mussels and the pernod mussels. We enjoyed another great.meal. Had chocolate fondue for dessert with strawberries and marshmallows and a waffle with strawberries and chantilly. The cappucino was served in a huge cup, making it worth the cost.

“the morning after brunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

I've been for breakfast/brunch many times. It's comfortable and low key (with an almost country kitchen type atmosphere). The walls are adorned with all things Belgian (a lot of Tintin artwork) and the menu has some authentic Belgian dishes. The waffles are terrific. My favorite though is the Cocotte (an egg dish). The coffee is very good, as are the Bloody Marys. But perhaps what gives it the greatest authenticity is the sense that the staff has been up all night partying after watching a very important football (soccer) match. It's not that they're not very nice, but they tend to move in slow motion. The aforementioned football is usually playing on the tv above the bar. In fact, I watched America beat England there during the last World Cup. It wasn't as low key that day.

“Great Little Place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

We had salads, the skirt steak, mussles, followed by a cheese plate. Service was very good. It's a small place with a bar in a nice area. All our dishes were very well done and tasty. When the weather is nice there are tables on the sidewalk.
