“Friendly reception, excellent beer”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2013

Found this restaurant/pub by chance near Penn Station. Been there twice and it was great every time. Excellent beer, very good service and the food was very well done and tasty. Definitely made it to my list of places to repeat when in Manhattan.

“Great place before the game”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2013

We were looking for a place to eat before a Rangers game at Madison Square Garden. Going to this old fashioned Irish pub was exactly right - good food, fresh and tasty, friendly service and great atmosphere. We'll be back.

“Consistenly good!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2013

Been going to Tir Na Nog for a number of years and never had a complaint. Food is always fresh and tasty. It does get busy and loud, but you can always count on a nice meal.

“Like stepping right into an old Irish Pub - Amazing food.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2013

Tir Na Nog is located right across the street from Penn Station so it's a great place to stop in for a drink before catching the train. The bar crowd is Hipster and very busy and the decor of the place is old Irish pub, i.e., a lot of wood and dark. The Shepard's pie is a favorite of mine and their menu is actually very diverse for an Irish bar. A friendly crowd for people of all ages.

“Excellent Meal and Service.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2013

My wife and I recently had dinner at this Restaurant in NYC. She had a well grilled Pork Chop, I had the Salmon. Our meals were cooked to perfection. The Salmon was fresh and the imported beer in a stone/wood room environment made our pre-dinner socializing very enjoyable. Our server 'Tamara' was excellent. Very attentive to our needs. We will definitely revisit this great eatery next time we visit NYC! Cheers and well done Tir Na Nog!
