“Nice place, good food!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2013 via mobile

Very nice place to have dinner. Looks like you are sitting on the ground but it's a chair your sitting on.
Good food. Real Korean black pots. It is only vegetarian (noodles or rice with vegetables or tofu) but also very good if you are non vegetarian. We had a shared appetizer, both a black pot with rice, water and a bottle of wine and had to pay about $90.

“BEST VEGAN FOOD IN NY”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2013

This authentic Korean vegan restaurant has it all: superb food, excellent helpful service, ambiance, and shoes off. Just East of 5th Avenue, it is not quite in Korea-town but it might as well be. It's best to go with someone who knows Korean cuisine and better yet someone who speaks a little Korean but it's definitely not necessary because the staff is so helpful. This restaurant is a winner in very way.

“our server Lillian plated Korean delights for the pallet.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2013

What a truly intriguing place to dine.! Dishes that are true vegan. Korean dishes that will just rock your world. Yet the atmosphere is mellow to say the least. Only the freshest most flavorful ingredients are used. The mixture of flavors and textures is a real delight. Cap oit off with tri flavor sorbet !
Please remember that both hot and cold Sake along with some original cocktails such as the Kamasutra are someting you can't and shouldn't pass up. A unique experience !

“Must experience for all!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2013

In the heart of NYC one can experience the Asian philosophy of Yin and Yang.

The food is all vegan with dishes I had never heard or thought existed. The spicy tofu in the clay pot, shitake mushrooms and eggplant kimchi were excellent - can find no fault in the food or the service. Definitely recommended and will be back.

“Vegan at its best!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2013

Friends recommended that we go here during our 3 day trip to New York. We squeezed it in on our last day and were happy that we did. This place has great character and the food is fantastic.
Enjoyed the excellent service and different cultural things, such as the hot pots which reminded me of the Mexican flat iron pans that come to the table in a Mexican restaurant. They certainly kept our food hot and it was delicious. Can't compare this to any other Korean restaurants, as we are both vegan/vegetarian and have never eaten in a Korean restaurant before. Pricey, yes, but it's small and situated in mid-town Manhattan, so expected to pay as much in any other nice restaurant in this area. If you've never had a Korean meal, suggest that you may want to order the fixed price dinner on the menu, it will cost you about 20% less.
