Fell into on a chilly December eve & felt like we'd found a fireside haven.
Positives : comforting but not too imposing (quite a large room) nice sectioning of restaurant you can choose area according to whether wining, dining or just a coffee, dark room creates intimate discrete location, darkness equally means in time zone & not want to leave.
Negatives: felt unsure about whether & where to sit on first entering, would have preferred a bar list vs what would you like answer, long walk to washrooms if in bar section, would love for menus to be readily available inside & outside restaurant. Had to ask once inside where we were & what they offered. Darkness may be off putting to some diners.
Would return probably to check out some of the sushi dishes we saw on the pass. Martinis worth enjoying too.
