There are many of these little restaurants/cafes spread around NYC and especially in the Theatre District. I have only eaten breakfast at Café Edison but have reviewed their menu and it is extensive for any meal.
I love the breakfast, as it is fast and plentiful and always tastes great. I normally get an omelet which comes with fried potatoes and toast. Coffee is separate and although the menu shows an extra fee for additional cups, my waiters have never charged me extra.
The food is always great tasting and this trip in addition to a few days of omelets I tried the Eggs Benedict and they also were great. So great service and great food equals a great restaurant. A Western Omelet with fried potatoes, toast and jam, coffee, plus tip (they add the tip) came to a total of $12 so prices are reasonable. Remember you are in NYC. High recommended.
