Out of the lobster, but breakfast was great! This is a great place to stop, have brunch, and nice bubbles.

“Excellent food and service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2011

We were staying at the Iroquois Hotel and decided to visit this restaurant on our last night. We had cocktails at the bar before dinner. They were excellent and the list contains drinks we had never tried before.

We considered the tasting menu but decided on ordering from the al a carte menu. Dishes included venison tartare, scallops, steak and a fantastic pear tart. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. The service was fantastic, attentive but not intrusive. The restaurant is fairly small and only a few tables were occupied so I imagine it could get quite noisy if full.

The cost of drinks was pretty expensive with the cheapest bottle of wine at around $60. Our bill was around $150 for three courses each and a couple of glasses of wine. Well worth it.

“Perhaps the best pre theater restaurant in NYC”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2011

Superb French cuisine at a price in a restaurant just a block and a half from the bright lights of Broadway! Most pre theater restaurants are fast but mediocre in quality of food and service but not Triomphe. This is a restaurant that gives you a meal to remember and gets you to the theater on time.
Try the incredible rack of Lamb served with figs stuffed with foiegras or the beek tips that literally melt in your mouth. Though the sole meuniere is not from Dover it is almost impossible to tell the difference. Salds and appetizers were all excellent and my beet and goat cheese salad was perfect. The tab for this superb cuisine does not come cheap but for that special night on Broadway, I highly recommend Triomphe!

“Wonderful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2011

The food and service is outstanding. Both my husband and I had the lamb. My sister and brother had the duck. Truly a wonderful experience..
They have a nice wine list and the bartender made one of the best cosmos I ever had.
