We purchased last minute tickets to a broadway show, and had about an hour until the show started. We were hungry, and because of the blizzard, did not want to walk far. Just around the corner from the theather was Langan's, with their big "A" cleanliness rating sticker. That was good enough for us.
We were seated immediately in a very nice dining room that is decorated with Broadway decor. The waitress came right over, and when we explained that we had tickets to a show, she made some recommendations for dishes, took our drink order, and gave us the menus. She was back with our drinks in about two minutes, and we decided to go with some of her recommendations.
As she finished taking our order, she told our daughter that the cast of Annie was sitting a few tables away. The girl that had played Annie had just left she explained, but the rest of the Orphans were there. My daughter was very excited about this, and we were grateful for the waitress to tell us this.
Dinner was served about ten minutes later, and it was really good. I had the Shepherd's Pie (which the waitress had recommended), and my wife had the Chicken Pot Pie. After a few minutes, the waitress came to check on everything, and because of our time pressure, she dropped the check on the table. She said that we could still add to it if necessary, but she did not want to hold us up at the end by still having to pay the bill.
As we were leaving she thanked us and told us to enjoy the show.
If I had three hands, I would give this place three thumbs up, but for now two thumbs up will have to do.
