We dropped by after a show nearby and didn't expect to get a table. It was exciting to be dining at a restaurant I have read so much about. The staff were plentiful and we were very well looked after. The food was great, no complaints. The walls are covered in caricatures of the famous who have dined there. We didn't see a star the night we were there, but it was still a great NY experience to dine at Sardi's. We were in casual clothes and didn't feel intimidated at all. Fellow diners were just like us, tourists dressed down. The menu is good with plenty on offer. Prices were not over the top. We dined for two, for just under $100.
