“Genuine dim sum.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2013

We often go to Ping's for brunch on a Saturday morning. The food is outstanding, fresh and very tasty - we haven't been disappointed in several visits. There is a great variety of dumplings and noodles, and we always finish off with steamed pork buns and custard tarts.

“Authentic Chinese in centre of China Town NYC”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2013

So many choices in China Town but this little restaurant delivers a punch. No airs and graces - elderly lady trips along with an excellent selection of Dim Sum - in expensive and well occupied by the locals. Enjoy

“Our favorite dim sum”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2013

We come here whenever we're in Chinatown, the dim sum never disappoints. It can be quite busy on the weekend so plan to either wait or arrive at an off-peak time (say 3 PM). Highly recommended for lunch when in Chinatown.

“Original and Excellent Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2013

This was one of the best chinese dinners I have ever had. The restaurant was featured in a travel guide for its fresh chinese seafood dishes. It was all that. The food was excellent. The dishes were original, simple, fresh, and very well prepared. Try the seafood combination pot or the crispy baked chicken.

“not as good if you don't go at a 'normal' time”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2013

i've loved ping's for many years, but visiting at 2pm on a friday was a bad idea. stale and/or limp describes the meal at best. rude service, of course - to be expected! usually a gem - try saturday or sunday morning...
