Description: Home style cooking at its best is our mantra. Our restaurant is located in the busy streets of Tribecca but one step inside instantly transports you to a quaint country diner in the heart of the New England country side. The pink polka dot wainscoting and tin ceilings along with our funky homemade tables made from salvaged doors adds to the cottage feel. You are met at the door with our abundantly filled pastry cases. The shelves are filled with our homemade layer cakes, flaky pies, iced cupcakes, fruit crisps, and so much more to tempt you on your way to a table. Kitchenette can satisfy all your cravings whether it be an oasis from the cold with our own hot chocolate topped with a homemade marshmallow, or a steamy bowl of chicken soup or a hearty meal of turkey meatloaf and mashed potatoes. We are a home away from home. Come visit us for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Brunch or an afternoon slice of cake and coffee. Hope to see you in our restaurant. Lisa and Ann

“Great surprise, worth the wait and lack of space”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2013

Was told about this restaurant from our hotel.....9 of us went for breakfast on a Saturday morning, and while we did have a wait it was well worth it. Great food, nice service, and lovely atmosphere.

“Too Crowded, food just okay.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2013

I really do enjoy the Kitchenette, but the gingerbread pancakes were tooo sweet, and with the apple butter? There was just no savoryness to balance all the sugar.

“Great for breakfast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2013 credit card Amex Card Member Review

I went there with a few friends who were visiting from out of town. It was a real treat and we were lucky to get a window seat. The breakfast and atmosphere were both very enjoyable.

“Crowded but yummy”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013 credit card Amex Card Member Review

Kitchenette is not the most comfortable place to eat - it's cramped and noisy, especially for brunch, but it is extremely good (also especially for brunch). Had the french toast which was amazing.

“Affordable little restaurant in Tribeca”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2013

This is a sweet little restaurant in Tribeca - we were looking for something affordable, so ended up eating here a couple of times. Had tasty food both times. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Love the decor too. We bought some desserts to take back to our hotel room - they were big enough to last two days (lucky we had a fridge in the room)! The desserts were freshly homemade and delicious. The red velvet cake, key lime Pie and lemon merengue pie were all delicious!
