Description: Scalini Fedeli ranked among New York's finest restaurants since its opening in early 2004, taking Italian cuisine to new heights. Rewarded with the highest overall ratings in the Zagat Survey, Scalini Fedeli has been granted one star by the Michelin guide in it's inaugural 2006 issue. The inviting decor features vaulted ceilings and European antiques and provides the perfect setting for chef Michael Cetrulo's delightful cuisine which offers the finest ingredients coupled with a confidence and grace that ensures your meal will be a memorable one. Menu highlights include soft egg yolk raviolo with ricotta and truffle butter and New York's finest venison chop in a port wine and balsamic vinegar sauce with toasted hazelnuts, sauteed spinach and roasted Mission figs. The 350-bottle wine list encompasses all regions of Italy but also does justice to the best American wineries.

A great restaurant with excellent service, good food and a nice selection of wines. The menu is impressive and the wine list extensive though not inexpensive.

“Wonderful food and perfect setting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2013

This restaurant is located in a fun area of Tribeca. The interior is charming- felt like a place you might stumble across in Italy. As the sun went down, the waiters lit the candles in the window and on the tables. The menu is a 3 course fixed price dinner. You have several choices for appetizer, main course, and dessert. The price is $70 per dinner. I researched comparable dinners in the city and they were much more expensive. For the quality of the food, service, and atmosphere I think it was definitely worth the price. For our appetizers, one had the crab napoleon- so good he wouldn't share. We had two different pasta dishes. One with sausage was delicious. Rigatoni was good but on the spicy side. Main courses- snapper prepared two ways, both delicious. Veal- excellent. For dessert- chocolate napoleon was ok. Chocolate souffle was amazing. They brought complimentary champagne for us to toast and then more sweet treats to try. The service was outstanding- the waiter very informed and helpful. We never felt rushed and really enjoyed savoring our meals. Loved the waiters commenting on things in Italian. The wine list was lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. This was a highlight of our trip.

“A NYC GEM !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2013

My husband and I chose this restaurant as we have enjoyed "Sirena Restaurant" in Long Branch NJ owned by the Cetrulo brothers and consider it a favorite. Scalini Fedeli was all that we hoped for and more as a place to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. Quiet and charming ambience, helpful and knowledgeable staff and amazing food made this an evening we will long remember. $70 prix fix dinner offers ample choices. The food is beautifully prepared and presented - starting with wonderful bread choices, an amazing mini- ravioli amuse bouche right to the incredible desserts we felt we were in a foodies' paradise. We are sure that anything we might have ordered would have been top notch but I have to mention the chicken liver ravioli, duck breast, diver scallops, apple tarte and chocolate dessert. Wines by the glass were excellent and the waiter guided us in making a choice. We look forward to returning for another sparkling NYC dining experience.
